skarn is such an aggressive word. isnt it? it sounds aggressive. almost like "scorn". but skarn isnt aggressive. coarse, maybe. but that's due to its nature as a metamorphoc rock. altered, changed from its original form due to circumstances outside of its control. its plain. its grey. mottled in deformity. its easy to look over, until you put it under a microscope. look a little closer, and you'll find there's much more underneath. once so divorced from the original form, can you call it what it once was? is it a sum of its parts? or something else?

skarn is grey. he's coarse, altered, something new, empty and no longer resembling what he once was, if what he was can even be called him. a sphere of nothing circled by something so alive. an empty glass, open. a living contradiction. someone who wants so deeply but feels so little. the spirit of a fighter unto someone who doesn't like to fight. because skarn doesn't like to fight. not in the way most pokemon do. he hates fighting. he'd rather use his words. he'd rather try and see best in pokemon. even if it means bad for him, even if it makes him seem bad, he wants the best ending for everyone. but...
